HEART where my Courage is..
In order to see God’s blessing in your life, you must be willing to join God’s team and remain alert to right and wrong. We are in a spiritual battle. This is real. It's not a game. The decisions you make today affect the rest of your life and your witness for Christ.
Have you ever asked yourself:
What is it about my heart that God wants?
Why does God love me?
Your heart is the place of compassion. It’s the center or core of who you are. Your heart is your spirit. It’s your place of courage and determination. Your heart is your focal point or driving factor in all you do.
God desires that each of us will have a heart after him. That’s why He places a wellspring of life within our spirits when we accept him. You may’ve suffered with boredom and lack of inspiration in the past. But the spring of the Lord within your heart is a plentiful source of water. It’s an ample supply that never runs dry. Every day that you live for Jesus, He causes your heart to swell with increase and abundant life.
At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:3-7, NIV)
As you make the courageous choice to turn away from sin and sanctify yourself to the Lord, you will find eternal life. II Peter 1:3 says God's power in your life is everything [insert your name] needs for life and godliness.
